Η τηλεόραση της Τουρκίας επέλεξε με ανάθεση τον επόμενο εκπρόσωπο της χώρας στον διαγωνισμό της Eurovision στο Όσλο της Νορβηγίας. Αφού αρχικά είχε επιλέξει δυο άλλους ερμηνευτές τελικά κατέληξε στο συγκρότημα MaNga όπου και δέχθηκαν την πρόταση της TRT.
Σε μια ειδική τηλεοπτική εκπομπή οι MaNga παρουσίασαν το τραγούδι τους στο κοινό.
